What I do
My specialties are in Adaptive yoga offering modifications for people with limitations such as trauma, anxiety, sciatic pain, back pain, MS, Parkinson's, scoliosis, fibromyalgia, aging adults and recovering from injuries, as well as those who are just starting out, feel too inflexible or off-balance or are just too intimidated to jump into a group class.
In addition I offer Hatha, restorative, yin, chair yoga either completely seated or a mix of using the chair as a prop and standing,
I teach in a gentle format encouraging stress reduction and listening to your body. Meditation, mindfulness, balance, pranayama (breath work), and a touch of humor are always included in my classes.
I listen to you and your needs, what your doctor recommends, respecting and not pushing limitations.
